This report is just a photo record mainly of the events as they took place at the Royal Ark Mariners meeting to hopefully inspire those who have not yet visited the Grand Lodge to make an extra special effort in the new year to get along to a Mark or RAM meeting and perhaps like myself just be in ore of it all.

Before the pictures I would sincerely like to thank my two minders who looked after me right from arrival at Euston to getting me back for the return train back to Manchester on the Tuesday, W. Bro’s John Waring the Asst Prov Grand Sec and W. Bro.John Bicknell the Prov Grand Sec, got off the train and there they were, this is the Friendly Degree.

On the Monday we attended a Grand Stewards Lodge meeting which on this one occasion was held at the Royal Overseas League Building due to technical problems at Mark Masons Hall, what I can say is that all who were present still had a great time.

Here’s to the next meeting which I am already looking forward to and as I always say get along to your local Mark meetings and meet old friends and make some new lifelong friends, don’t forget if you’re not a member of the colourful Royal Ark Mariners Degree already ask your Mark Secretary who will be happy to point you in the right direction.
